Xu Lin is an outstanding young teacher under the “Blue and Blue Project” of Jiangsu Universities, and received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University in 2010, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemistry of Indiana University and the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 2010 to 2015, and joined the School of Chemistry and Materials Science of Nanjing Normal University as a high-level talent from overseas in July 2015. In July 2015, he joined the School of Chemistry and Materials Science of Nanjing Normal University as an overseas high-level talent. His current research interests include nanoelectrochemistry, chemical power, new energy devices and so on. So far, he has published more than 100 articles as first author or corresponding author, including Adv. Mater., ACS Nano, ACS Catal., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Sci., Small, Appl. Catal. B, and J. Mater. Chem. A. More than twenty national invention patents have been authorized and one More than twenty national invention patents have been authorized and one patent has been transferred. He has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSC), Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China (JNSCF), Jiangsu Provincial University Natural Science Foundation of China (JPUNSCF), and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSCF), the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST), and Jiangsu Provincial Major Research and Development Program (JPMRDP), among others. He serves as an advisory editorial board member of Nanoscale, Nanoscale Advances, SmartMat and Soft Science.
